Everything you need to stay on top of your money. Nothing you don’t.

Kasa started as a replacement for a budgeting app that got in the way. It keeps the parts that matter and adds the ones most trackers forget: loans, assets and real net worth.

Your month at a glance

Main balance, spent and earned, what’s still to pay, and spending by category. Click a bar to open any month, or a category to filter.

Transfers aren’t spending

Moving money into savings, investments or a loan is a transfer, so your spending number stays honest instead of spiking on payday.

Loans with a payment plan

Each payment counts as spending and lowers what you owe. See progress, a payoff chart and the date of your last payment.

Every month, automatically

Rent, salary and subscriptions post themselves on their day. A schedule can end after a set month, like the last loan payment.

Any currency, bitcoin and gold

CZK, EUR, USD, GBP, TRY, BTC and gold in grams. Paying abroad? Enter “50 €” and the day’s rate is filled in for you.

Net worth that stays right

Track savings, investments, property and debts. Set an account’s real value on a day and balances count from there, so old gaps never skew today.

Import bank statements

Drop in a CSV export from your bank. Kasa guesses the columns and categories, and remembers your choices for next time.

Split a receipt

Break one transaction into items, like a supermarket trip that was part groceries and part household, so categories tell the truth.

Private by design

Your finances are nobody’s business model.

  • No bank login. Kasa never asks for your bank credentials. You add entries or import a statement.
  • Your data is yours alone. Every person has separate data. Nobody else can see it, not even other people on the same Kasa.
  • No ads, no trackers. No analytics scripts on the app or this page.
  • Careful with passwords. Salted PBKDF2 hashes, and the account locks after repeated wrong attempts.

Questions

What is Kasa?

Kasa is a simple money tracker that runs in your browser. You log what you spend and earn, plan monthly bills, follow your loans and see your net worth across accounts, currencies, bitcoin and gold.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Kasa never asks for your bank login. You add transactions yourself or import a CSV statement exported from your bank.

How is Kasa different from other budgeting apps?

Moving money into savings, investments or a loan is a transfer, never spending, so your monthly spending stays honest. Loans have payment plans that lower what you owe with each payment, and your net worth includes assets and debts in any currency, bitcoin and gold.

Which currencies does Kasa support?

Accounts can hold Czech koruna (CZK), euro (EUR), US dollar (USD), British pound (GBP), Turkish lira (TRY), bitcoin (BTC) and gold in grams. Totals are shown in the main currency you choose, using exchange rates updated a few times a day.

Is my financial data private?

Yes. Every person has their own separate data and nobody can see anyone else’s. Passwords are stored as salted PBKDF2 hashes, and repeated wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes. There are no ads and no trackers.

Does Kasa work on my phone?

Yes. Kasa is a web app with a phone layout. Open it in your browser and add it to your home screen to use it like an app, on iPhone, Android or desktop.

How much does Kasa cost?

Kasa is free while it is invite-only.

Which languages is Kasa available in?

English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish and Russian. You can switch at any time.
